The Cy-Fair Educational Foundation hosted the 2nd annual Cypress Hoops Invitational tournament, December 8th, 9th & 10th.  The tournament had twenty four teams including the ten CFISD boy's varsity teams and fourteen out of district teams. The Cy-Fair Hoops Invitational is the new, expanded, and updated version of the district's age old varsity boys CFISD basketball tournament. Klein High School came in first place and our own Cy-Falls High School came in second place. The Foundation plans to engage the entire community in order to promote basketball, generate community spirit, and raise funds for the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation; Profits from the tournament will benefit our "Donate to Educate" program.  This program provides college scholarships for district students as well as staff development grants to CFISD.
