This year CFEF will celebrate  the 21st Annual B.F. Adam Golf Classic benefiting deserving Cy-Fair ISD graduates. The golf  tournament will be held at BlackHorse Golf Club on Thursday, May 20, 2010. Last years event was another success raising over $91,000. The tournament  will include a steak dinner, awards ceremony and silent auction. People who are familiar with the tournament know to sign up early, as it is one of the largest non-celebrity charity golf tournaments in Houston, and has been a sell out every year. 

The tournament was named after B.F. (Bernard Fred) Adam, a lifelong Cy-Fair resident and a devoted school board member, serving 24 years on the board. B.F. Adam Elementary on Honey Grove Lane is named in his honor.

The golf tournament has always garnered great support from the community, and successfully raised $1.4 million for student scholarships since inception.  

Lead underwriters for the 2010 tournament are Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital and The B.F. Adam Family. Sponsoring at the Platinum level are  Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP, Attorneys at Law, Bay Architects and Towne Lake, a Caldwell Community. Lunch will be donated by Willie’s Grill & Icehouse and the steak dinner will be provided by Carl's BBQ .
