We began 2009 with a new event, "Salute to Our Heroes" which honored the brave men and women who have served to preserve our freedom and liberty. Proceeds from the event will go into an endowment in the memory of fallen soldiers, enabling graduating students from CFISD to attend college. This first year event brought in over $36,000! In May we celebrated our 20th Annual B.F. Adam Classic at BlackHorse Golf Club. We have raised $1.3 million in funds from this event to benefit the students of the Cy-Fair community and had another successful event this year. Always searching for ways to boost our fund-raising efforts for student scholarships we added a new twist to the BF Adam Classic last year with the addition of Bogeys & Boots Dinner and Auction Event. Our Second Annual Bogeys & Boots was held April 24th, this event was a fun evening for golfers and non golfers alike with dinner, dancing and live entertainment.

June 9, 2009 marks another first for CFEF, we will be unveiling our new Endowment Wall in the Berry Center. CFEF has nine new Endowment Partners and will be celebrating with the 2009 scholarship recipients and our Board of Trustees.
