This year CFEF will hold the 16th Annual "Salute to the Stars Gala" on October 17, 2013. The black-tie event at Cy-Fair ISD's Richard E. Berry Center will draw over 750 community and business leaders, elected and school officials. 

Last year the event raised over $167,000 for staff development grants and student scholarships, bringing the grand total to over $1.7 million raised since 1998. We expect the 2013 event will be a record for the Foundation's fundraising efforts. The 84 teachers who were honored at the 2012 event were named Cy-Fair ISD "Spotlight Teachers" for the 2010-11 school year. Cy-Fair Medical Center Hospital will generously underwrite.   Also sponsoring in 2013 will be the Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union as the Red Carpet Premiere Sponsor, Bay- IBI Group Architects as the Superintendent Table Sponsor and Methodist Willowbrook Hospital as Teacher Appreciation Sponsor.

Each year, Cy-Fair ISD recognizes one teacher from each of its campuses who represents a unique balance of skill, art, and heart in teaching students in his or her subject area or program.

The 16th Annual Salute to the Stars gala will honor Cy-Fair ISD's best of the best, teachers who daily put student needs before their own will be honored by Cy-Fair businesses and community members. 'Salute to the Stars' is a primary example of our community acknowledging that it values our teachers and our schools.
