The Foundation provides college financial support to capable and motivated CFISD student leaders with significant financial need. Our Trustees are passionate community and business leaders committed to raising funds for student scholarships and teacher excellence grants. The Foundation and its Trustees work closely with CFISD and the Lone Star College-CyFair to impact quality of life in our community and improve access to college.

In the 38 years since the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation was established, more than $3 million in scholarships has been awarded to more than 850 graduates of Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, and over $800,000 has been donated to CFISD Instructional Excellence Grants.

CFEF is a tax-exempt, 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation; it does not endorse political candidates or issues. Contributions are tax deductible. A Board of Trustees, made up of 57 community leaders, governs the Foundation.

The Foundation receives no tax dollars from the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD or any other taxing entity.
