The Donate to Educate program provides scholarships to graduating seniors. In this blog, we will announce the winner’s of 2016’s Donate to Educate program and give you a brief background on the benefits of participating.
Donate to Educate allows CFISD employees to contribute to the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation through payroll deductions or direct donations. If you donate $100 or more on a yearly basis, you will receive a t-shirt that you can wear with jeans on CFEF Superhero Monday, the first Monday of every month. Here are some additional perks:
- Monthly coupons to local businesses
- Reward for the school with the highest participation in the district
- Special item for superheroes who also participate in the annual Superintendent’s Fun Run.
This year, we are excited to announce that Bane Elementary and Moore Elementary tied for the most employees who signed up to contribute to Donate to Educate.. Our impressive winners will have a lunch provided by the CFEF and by The Backyard Grill. Through the program, the CFEF has brought in more than $70,000 from payroll deductions. The funds raised go to our scholarship fund. Thank you to all the CFISD employees who contributed to make 2016’s Donate to Educate program such a resounding success!
