The Cy-Fair Educational Foundation relies on the generous donations of individuals, businesses, and the community to help fund our scholarships to give high school students the opportunity to pursue higher education. In this blog, we will highlight one of our programs designed for CFISD employees: Donate to Educate.
The Donate to Educate program provides scholarships to graduating seniors. Employees of CFISD have the option of contributing to our Foundation through either payroll deductions or direct donations. Participating in the program grants you several cool perks! If you donate $100 or more on an annual basis, you will receive a t-shirt to wear with jeans on the first Monday of every month. Additional incentives include: (1) monthly coupons to local businesses; (2) a reward for the school in the district with the highest participation; and (3) a special item for those who also participate in the annual Superintendent’s Fun Run.
All donations go to the CFEF scholarship fund and Donate to Educate continues to grow. We currently have over 1,500 contributors who donate almost $12,000 per month!
