Forty-five years ago, the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF) was created. Thirteen years later, in 1983, Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital (Cy-Fair Hospital) opened. As both organizations have evolved and progressed over the years, a great deal of mutual respect and admiration exists between the two. Today, Cy-Fair Hospital is a 181-bed hospital which employs over 1,000 people, including a medical staff of almost 500 physicians. They offer seven locations for emergency care services and urgent care. Quite impressively, Cy-Fair Hospital is the Cy-Fair community’s only Level III Trauma Center. Beyond ER and urgent care, Cy-Fair Hospital also offers services including maternity and imaging. This unique service allows you to reserve your time online and comfortably wait at home until your appointment time. Once you arrive, you will be taken care of within 15 minutes. As waiting at facilities for long periods of time can be frustrating when hospital’s are operating at full capacity, this service is great for those dealing with non-urgent conditions such as allergies, colds, etc.
