Salute to the Stars Update 2016

Salute to the Stars recognizes CFISD’s best teachers who have such a significant impact on our youth.   One of our major fundraising events of the year, the gala will take place on Thursday, October 13th with doors opening at 6:30 P.M.  This blog will announce some recent news surrounding Salute to the Stars which is quickly approaching next month.

1017-Salute-4-2The gala will recognize 88 CFISD 2016 Spotlight Teachers. Each teacher was selected by their principal as representing a unique balance of skill, art, and heart in teaching students in his or her subject area or program.  Salute to the Stars has raised over $2 million for innovative staff development grants for district teachers and instructional specialists as well as for scholarships for graduating seniors.  Sponsorships and ads are still available.  Raffle donations are still being accepted as well.  If you are interested in learning more, please contact us at 281-370-0144.

Our Mission

We raise funds to increase college access by awarding scholarships to Cy-Fair ISD graduates and dual credit scholarships for current students. Funds raised also promote excellence in teaching by providing staff development programs to CFISD.
