As December 31, 2015 draws near, we ask you to please remember the opportunity to make an end of the year charitable gift to CFEF. Your gifts are essential in providing graduating seniors of CFISD an opportunity to attend college. Over the past 44 years, more than $6 million has been awarded to over 1,300 graduating seniors and almost $2 million in staff development grants.

You may also consider establishing an endowment. Endowed funds differ from others in that they are truly a gift that keeps on giving. Instead of the entire amount of the gift being spent outright, the total amount of the gift is invested. Each year, only a portion of the investment income earned is spent while the remainder is added to the original principal. An endowment is a perpetual gift because only the interest is used to support the Foundation while the principal continuously grows. Endowment Partners have the opportunity to make a lasting influence on the community and to honor or memorialize loved ones, friends, colleagues, teachers, or other individuals.
