The Salute to the Stars gala honors Cy-Fair ISD’s best teachers who have such a significant impact on the youth in our community. Initiated in 1998, it has raised more than $2 million for CFEF’s programs. Seventeen years later, we cannot wait for the next gala taking place in a little over a month! In this blog, we will give you a good background on who is honored and how to support this special night.
One teacher from each of Cy-Fair ISD’s campuses is recognized as representing a unique balance of skill, art, and heart in teaching students in his or her subject area or program. While recognizing the outstanding teachers in the Cy-Fair area, the gala also helps to raise funds for students pursuing higher education and for CFISD staff development grants.
