The Salute to the Stars Gala will take place on Thursday, October 13th, 2016 at the Richard E. Berry Educational Support Center. The gala honors CFISD’s Spotlight Teachers whose outstanding contributions to education have such a significant impact on our youth. This blog will provide you with some last-minute details before one of our major fundraising events of the year.
Gala underwriter, Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital, joins the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation in celebrating the 2016 Spotlight Teachers, along with major sponsors IBI Group, Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union, North Cypress Medical Center Hospital, Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Prairie View A&M University, Northwest Dodge, and S-G Owners Association. Our major sponsors are joined by our Foundation Partners Caldwell Companies, Houston Methodist Willowbrook, Memorial Hermann, and Community Impact Newspaper. Members of the community, business leaders, elected officials, and district employees will come together for this special black-tie event. The gala is a wonderful example of the Cy-Fair community appreciating and valuing our teachers and schools. One teacher from each of CFISD’s 88 campuses is recognized as representing a unique balance of skill, art, and heart in teaching students in his or her subject area or program.
